Recycled Wool Fibre Fill made from white yarns otherwise destined for landfill.

Here at The Snail of Happiness, we love this fibre fill. We use it for stuffing our amigurumi and when making cushions. It fits right in with our ethos – something otherwise considered waste, completely plastic-free and produced by a British company. We weigh it out and pack it into plastic bags that other products come in (so don’t be fooled by what it might say on the bag!).

The background
Unused and unsuitable yarn stock from mills ends up in landfill or stored for years; going to waste. These yarns are, therefore, reverse processed by using a pulling machine to create a very effective, bulky and dense fibre fill. With the twist of the yarns still present, it makes for a very springy feature which will help your fibre filled piece bounce back into shape!
